Here are some tips on how clients/customers can best prepare for services from High Country Pipe:

  1. Clear Access to Work Areas

Ensure clear access to all manholes, pipelines, and other areas where High Country Pipe crews will need access. Remove any physical obstacles or barriers that would prevent access.

  1. Locate Underground Utilities

Mark any underground water, gas, electric or sewer lines near where excavation work will occur using utility locating services. This keeps both the client’s property and High Country Pipe crew safe.

  1. Permits & Easements

Have any required permits, easements or authorizations prepared ahead of the work. This may include plumbing permits, HOA approvals, utility easements etc.

  1. Move Valuable Items

Remove or clearly mark any valuable landscaping, outdoor furnishings, vehicles etc. that are near the work areas. This protects personal property from accidental damage.

  1. Clear Communication

Designate a main contact person on site that the High Country Pipe crew lead can coordinate directly with during the project.

  1. Temporary Utilities

If plumbing or pipelines will be temporarily out of service, be prepared by securing temporary water, drain access etc.

  1. Safety Preparations

Ensure temporary fencing around excavation sites, post safety signage if needed, provide high-visibility clothing/requirements for anyone overseeing on site.
