Construction | Utility Maintenance/Service

High Country Pipe, Inc is seeking motivated candidates to join our construction services team. This is an excellent opportunity to build a career in the construction industry. Previous underground utility experience is preferred but not required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Dependable and a fast learner
  • Exceptional critical thinking and time management skills
  • High mechanical aptitude
  • Capable of prolonged standing, climbing, balancing, crawling, and lifting over 75 lbs
  • Can drive in all weather conditions
  • Operate manual transmission vehicles and back trailers
  • Reliably commute/relocate to Fort Collins or Parker locations. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in underground utility construction
  • Proven welding and fabrication experience
  • Proven auto/small engine repair experience
  • Strong Spanish language skills
  • Experience operating jetters or CCTV cameras
  • CDL Class B with tanker endorsement and air brakes

 

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Complete assigned jobs and paperwork
  • Operate equipment properly and safely
  • Troubleshoot customer issues
  • Follow policies and safe work practices
  • Assist with traffic control
  • Foster positive customer and coworker relations
  • Maintain company image; demonstrate integrity
  • Communicate effectively with management and customers
  • Field repairs on various equipment
  • Understand construction plans and specifications
  • Complete daily documentation legibly
  • Continually clean work areas and replace tools
  • Unload/clean trucks after shifts
  • Occasional overnight stays expected
